The Lonely Barn
Earlier today, as I hiked through the Black and White Forest of my Imagination, I happened upon a lone barn surrounded by a broken fence. A dead tree stood solitary in front of the barn and large clouds loomed on the horizon. At first I thought I should say hello to whomever found residence inside the barn, but then I remembered to not talk to strangers, and whoever it was that was in the barn was most surely a stranger, as I don't know anyone that lives in a barn.
So I continued walking along the side of the steep slope. I hope slopes start leveling out soon. All this sideways walking is making my ankles throb.
